Socialite Paris Hilton has taken up piano lessons in a bid to take full control of her music career.

The 26-year-old – who co-wrote five songs on her 2006 debut album Paris – hopes to be able to play the instrument by the time she heads into the studio to record her next LP. She says, “This way, I can write my own music and have more control with others not pushing in.”
