Paris Hilton is ready to be Aunt Paris to her friend Nicole Richie’s newborn, Harlow Winter Kate Madden.

“I’m so excited!” Hilton exclaimed at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. “I’ve sent her all these presents. I’m going to spoil her!”

Though Hilton, 27, hasn’t met Harlow – born Jan. 12 to Richie and Joel Madden – she is already a fan of her name.

“It’s the coolest name ever,” she told Us. “I’m like, ‘That is the coolest name, oh my God!’ I wouldn’t even think she would have thought of that. It’s a beautiful name.”

“Nicole is so into it,” she said of the name Harlow. “She always knows what’s cool before it happens.”

US magazine caught up with the heiress at the Sundance Film Festival, where she was promoting her new gross-out comedy The Hottie and the Nottie (out February .

“She’s such a sweet girl when I’m alone with her, she’s a completely different person than she’s made out to be,” Hilton said. “And I love her, I think she’s very sweet and has a big heart. She’s amazing.”

“I just want her to be happy,” she said. “I think everything’s going to be OK.”

15-year-old heiress Kira Plastinina is a ‘fashion designer’ who wants desperately to be taken seriously…so she has reportedly offered Hotel Heiress Paris Hilton $2 million just to sit in the front row of one of her fashion shows!

Kira Plastinina insists that she is a true fashion designer who is dedicated to her work and constantly drawing up fashion designs in her spare time and at school. She says: “I’m always coming to work, and my thoughts are constantly absorbed in work. I always think about work, day and night. Sometimes I even draw designs in school.”

The 15-year-old could be considered very lucky, as her father Sergei Plastinina, the millionaire co-founder of Wimm-Bill-Dannis, has been wealthy enough to support her dreams. Kira has already opened up 28 of her own stores across Russia - but she insists her success is not all thanks to dad’s money, but her talent - and that she’s not after attention.

“It’s not like I just went to my dad and said, ‘I want a store,’ and he gave me a store with my name on it and I don’t do anything,” explained Kira.

Kira insists fashion is her passion and has been since she was a young child: “As far back as I can remember, I was always drawing things, either clothing or horses…but mostly clothing.” While dad may run the commercial and business side of things regarding her stores, Kira says she runs the creative side: “We have a very friendly team and we all work together, but I come up with most of the ideas and I draw the models.” Kira’s line of clothing is for teens, especially girls who are not afraid of being ‘girly’.

New parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are battling over who will be their baby daughter Harlow’s godmother. Richie wants pal Paris Hilton to act as the tot’s guardian, while rocker Madden would prefer to name his future sister-in-law, Aussie actress/model Sophie Monk, godmother.

A source tells America’s Globe, “Joel doesn’t think Paris is up to the task… He’s lobbying for Sophie.”

Monk will become part of the Madden family when she weds fiance Benji Madden, Joel’s twin brother and Good Charlotte bandmate.

Richie and Madden welcomed baby Harlow into the world in Los Angeles last Friday.

Paris Hilton, the socialite, actress and singer recently turned fashion icon, is scheduled to appear at South Coast Plaza in February to promote her new line of high-end footwear.

The Paris Hilton Footwear Collection, which offers spring, summer, fall and winter lines, and ranges in price from $59 to $195, will go on sale Jan. 29 at Macy’s, collection spokeswoman Emily Weiner-Cohen said. Hilton plans to make a personal appearance from 3 to 6 p.m. Feb. 8 to sign autographs for the first 200 people to purchase her shoes after the first day they go on sale.

The Paris Hilton Footwear Collection includes stilettos, flats, wedges and sandals, with sizes ranging from 5 to 11.

Weiner-Cohen said she expected a packed house for Hilton, who will sign photographs of herself rather than the shoes.

“The first 200 people who buy shoes from the 29th to the 8th are guaranteed to meet her, so we’re expecting more than 200” people, Weiner-Cohen said.

Rap star 50 Cent is set to interview socialite Paris Hilton on Sunday at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah.

The face-to-face grilling will take place at the event’s MySpace Cafe, and will be aired online as part of the social networking site’s celebrity artist-on-artist programme.

American reality TV star Brody Jenner has denied reports he enjoyed an intimate kiss with socialite Paris Hilton at a New Year party, despite apparent photo evidence to the contrary.

The Hills star insists he and Hilton are good pals - but have never tried to take their relationship to the next level.

He tells People.com, “I’ve never made out with Paris Hilton so that’s false. False rumours!

“I swear to God I’ve never kissed Paris ever in my life. We’re friends but never, never ever, ever was it a romantic thing, ever. I would love to see proof of us kissing because that’s never happened. I swear.”

The couple sparked rumours of a romance after the hotel heiress was seen kissing a man dressed in a grey T-shirt and baseball hat at a New Year’s Eve party at Lax nightclub in Las Vegas. Jenner was seen wearing similar attire later that night while out with Hilton.

Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton don’t have the best friendship track record. They filmed one season of their terrible faux reality show The Simple Life separately, but were later shown fake making-up in a staged scene that convinced no one. Some people theorized that they remained friends throughout their supposed estrangement and that it was all for publicity, but they don’t seem savvy enough to me to have pulled it off for so long.

Paris announced Christina Aguilera’s pregnancy for her by calling her “the most beautiful pregnant woman in the world” in what was thought to be a deliberate dig at Richie. These two have supposedly made up since, though, as Paris was listed as one of the official hosts of Nicole Richie’s baby shower in November. Their reconciliation may have been only temporary as usual, because Star Magazine reports that Paris was mighty pissed to learn that Nicole donated her expensive baby gift to the charity she co-founded with her boyfriend, Joel Madden:
