Hotel heiress Paris Hilton and her on/off boyfriend of 1 year, Stavros Niarchos, have split, according to Life & Style magazine.

An insider tells the mag, “Paris dumped Stavros. She’s been getting tired of him for a while. She feels he’s just too insecure and immature.”

Stavros, however, was devastated. “He’s really bummed out. He was crazy about Paris. Paris says she really cares about him as a friend, but she doesn’t want to be in a relationship right now. She loves him, but she’s not in love with him.”Life & Style scoops: ‘The insider says Paris and Stav have not been out together in months. In fact, he didn’t even attend her St Patrick’s Day bash on March 17, where, a partygoer says, she got hot and heavy with Josh Henderson, one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors and Ashlee Simpson’s ex.

“They were kissing on the couch like two giddy teenagers. It was really cute,” says the insider.

‘The heiress met Josh, who stars on Desperate Housewives, on March 16 at Les Deux, says the insider, where they obviously hit it off.’

The insider adds, “The chemistry between them was intense.”

Another source told Star magazine, “They couldn’t take their eyes off of each other.”

“Paris looked completely smitten with Josh. She just kept smiling and laughing at everything he said, like she was under his spell. They actually make a really good looking couple.”

The source goes on to tell the mag that Paris and Josh spent some alone time after leaving the night club.

The source explains, “Paris and Josh sat in the backseat of the car by themselves for about 15 minutes.”

“It was just the two of them talking and flirting. I guess they wanted to have some alone time before heading to Paris’ house where she had a St. Patrick’s Day party.”

A friend of the socialite told Life & Style, “Paris is so much happier now that it’s over.
