Paris Hilton was rumored to be headed to Maricopa County, Arizona to meet Sheriff Joe Arpaio and be locked up in Tent City, his infamous county jail where inmates are housed in tents outside and are clothed in old fashioned jail stripes, when she was spending time in lock up in Los Angeles for a probation violation last summer.  But it was not meant to be at that time.  Now Sheriff Joe may have another shot at Paris if she misbehaves.

Paris is all over Phoenix and Scottsdale Arizona this weekend as events rage on towards Super Bowl XXLII.  She certainly will want to hire a driver if she is slamming down any alcohol as will all of the other celebs that are in Phoenix for the big event.

At only eight-years-old, Karley Scott Collins is headed to her first movie premiere. “The Hottie and the Nottie” stars Paris Hilton, and Collins will be walking the red carpet with her this week.

Collins plays the younger version of Hilton’s character in the film.

The red carpet premiere is Tuesday in Los Angeles. The movie opens February 8.

This is Collins’ first feature film. She has previously appeared on major network television shows, including CBS’ short-lived series “The Class” in 2006 and had a guest role on ABC’s “Private Practice” last year.

Collins has also finished shooting two horror films that are scheduled to be released later this year – “Pulse 2″ and “The Amusement.”

Collins, 8, first appeared in commercials before making her television debut in 2006.

Collins also enjoys singing, tennis and playing with her toys. She gets straight A’s at her school in Lake City. When she’s on the road, she takes her homework with her and has teachers on the set.

Collins wants to continue acting forever. “I’m going to do it until I die!” says Karley.

Late night host David Letterman publicly apologized to Paris Hilton on Friday night for hurting her feelings during an infamous 2007 interview.

The TV presenter upset the socialite when he grilled her about her prison stint last year, and refused to change the subject when Hilton begged him to.

So, when Hilton agreed to return to Letterman’s The Late Show to promote her new film The Hottie & The Nottie, the host decided it was time to make amends.

Before introducing the hotel heiress, Letterman said, “I made a fool of myself and I hurt the woman’s feelings. I went too far.”

The host revealed Hilton was adamant she’d never appear on the show again, but he tracked her down to apologize, sent her a letter and flowers, and implored her to change her mind: “I said… let me apologize to you in person.”

“In 26 years of being on the air, I have offended thousands of people… but Paris, God bless her, has the backbone to come and be on the show.”

True to his word, Letterman began his chat with Hilton by apologizing for his behavior during their previous encounter, prompting his smiling guest to say, “I hope you got the whole jail thing out of your system.”

And the chat show host was on his best behavior, chatting to Hilton about her new film and helping her to promote her own sparkling wine, cellphone videogame and shoe, jewellery, watch, scent and clothing lines.

The thrilled socialite had some kind words for the host when he asked her if she was glad to be back, stating, “You’re being really well behaved so far. You’re not being naughty.”

And, after swearing she’d return, Letterman presented Hilton with a bunch of flowers.
